Privacy policy
Last updated: January 29, 2026
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
Operating under the brand Stravix ("Stravix", "we"), we are the data controller for personal data processed through our online store. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, you can contact us via email at info@stravix.com. . We do not publish any postal address on the website; if you need a postal address (e.g. for formal communications), you can request it by writing to info@stravix.com . Stravix has not appointed a DPO.
2. Who does this Privacy Policy apply to?
This Privacy Policy applies to those who visit our site, make purchases (we only sell B2C), contact us, or give consent for marketing and tracking purposes (e.g. Facebook/Instagram advertising or analytics). If you access third-party sites or services through our site, their respective privacy policies apply.
3. What personal data do we process?
When you purchase on Stravix or contact us, we process the data necessary to manage the order and assist you. This includes, for example, name, email and delivery address, and possibly a phone number if you provide it or if required for delivery. We also process order-related data, such as purchased products (e.g. running vest), variants like size or color, order number, amounts, and order status. If you write to us for questions, complaints, or returns, we process the content of the message and any attachments. During navigation, we may also process technical data, such as IP address, browser/device information, and security/server logs. If you provide consent for statistical or marketing cookies, data related to site usage (e.g. via Google Analytics 4 or Meta Pixel) may also be processed.
4. Why do we process data and on what legal basis?
We process personal data only if there is a valid legal basis under the GDPR. In most cases, data is processed because it is necessary for the performance of the contract: receiving and managing the order, handling payment, shipping and delivering the package, providing tracking/track & trace, and managing returns and refunds. We also process data to fulfill legal obligations, for example for administrative and tax purposes. Furthermore, we may process data based on our legitimate interest, for example for site security, fraud and abuse prevention, and handling complaints or disputes. For statistics and marketing/tracking (such as Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel for Facebook/Instagram advertising), we process data only if you give consent via cookie banner and cookie settings. Any promotional communications via email occur on a consensual basis or, where permitted by law, as communications to existing customers with a clear opt-out option.
5. Cookies and tracking (brief explanation)
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the online store functions correctly, enable shopping cart and checkout, and, if you allow, measure statistics and make advertisements more relevant. For full details on cookie types, purposes, duration, and consent management, please refer to the Cookie Policy (listed below).
6. Who do we share data with?
Stravix shares personal data only with the parties necessary for the operation of the store and the fulfillment of the order. Our store is based on Shopify, which processes data for hosting, checkout, and order management. For deliveries within Italy, we use Poste Italiane, which receives the necessary shipping data and allows tracking. Payments are handled by the providers and payment methods chosen at checkout, including Shopify Payments (including Shop Pay and, if available, Bancontact and iDEAL), as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. For communications, we use email through a Gmail account, so emails may be processed by the relevant service provider. If you consent to the use of cookies, Google (for GA4) and Meta (for Meta Pixel) may also process data within the limits of your settings. We may also share data with IT/security service providers or consultants (accountants/lawyers) if necessary, and with competent authorities when required by law.
7. Transfers outside the EEA (EU/EEA)
Since we collaborate with third parties, personal data may be transferred outside the EEA. This may also occur in the case of certain technological/advertising services if providers operate outside the EEA. In these cases, we adopt appropriate safeguards as provided by the GDPR, for example through standard contractual clauses (SCCs) and, if necessary, supplementary security measures. Where available, an adequacy decision or an equivalent recognized mechanism may also apply.
8. How long do we retain data?
We retain personal data only for the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Data relating to orders, payments, and administration is retained for the period necessary for service management and for the time required by tax and administrative obligations. Communications with customer support and return requests are retained until the matter is concluded and for a reasonable period thereafter (e.g. to handle any subsequent requests or warranties), unless disputes are ongoing. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn or opt-out. Data related to cookies and online identifiers follow the durations provided by individual cookies and the consent settings chosen.
9. Security
We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, such as access limitations to systems, careful account management, and monitoring of any incidents. As no online environment is risk-free, we encourage you to protect your devices and not send overly sensitive information via email.
10. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access your data, rectification, erasure (within limits), restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent (e.g. for cookies/marketing). Where applicable, you can also exercise the right to data portability. You can send a request to info@stravix.com; we may require reasonable identity verification to prevent abuse.
11. Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding data processing, you can contact us at info@stravix.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Since Stravix is based in the Netherlands, you can contact the Dutch supervisory authority; if you reside in Italy, you can also contact the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italian data protection authority).
12. Minors
The site is not intended for minors. Purchases must be made by an adult.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy in the event of operational or regulatory changes. The most recent version will always be available on the site with the "Last updated" date.
