Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are saved on your device when you visit a website. They serve, for example, to make the site function correctly, remember your shopping cart, store preferences and, if you allow it, measure statistics or personalize advertising. In addition to cookies, similar technologies such as pixels or local storage may be used.
2. What types of cookies does Stravix use?
Stravix uses at least cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the store and checkout (typical of Shopify stores). In addition, based on your choice in the cookie banner, we may use statistical cookies for measurements via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and marketing cookies for advertising and conversion measurement via Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram). We may also use preference cookies to remember certain settings. The actual active cookies may change due to Shopify updates or changes to the tools used; for this reason, we provide a cookie banner and cookie settings to manage preferences.
3. Necessary cookies (always active)
Necessary cookies are essential for the technical functioning of the website, for example, to maintain the shopping cart, manage checkout, protect forms, and ensure session security. Consent is not required for these cookies because they are essential to provide the service requested by the user.
4. Statistical cookies (only with consent) – Google Analytics 4
If you give consent, statistical cookies are used to understand how the site is used, which pages work best, and how to improve the experience. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated data and analyze performance. You can revoke or modify consent at any time via the cookie settings.
5. Marketing cookies (only with consent) – Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram)
If you give consent, marketing cookies/pixels may be used to measure the effectiveness of ads on Facebook/Instagram, record conversions, and enable retargeting activities. We use Meta Pixel in combination with Facebook Ads. In this case too, you can modify or revoke consent at any time via the cookie settings.
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties that we use for payments, analytics or advertising (e.g., payment providers, Google or Meta). Such parties may process data according to their own rules within their services. We limit this processing through cookie settings, so that statistical and marketing cookies are only active with your consent.
7. Duration: session and persistent cookies
Some cookies are session cookies and are deleted when the browser is closed. Others are persistent and remain for a longer period to store preferences or measurement data. The duration depends on the individual cookie and the service used. You can always delete cookies from your browser settings.
8. Consent management and cookie settings
Upon first access, you can set your preferences from the cookie banner. Afterwards, you can always change your choice via the cookie settings on the site (if the button is available) or via your browser settings. If you delete cookies in your browser, you may need to set your preferences again.
9. Transfers outside the EEA
If you consent to statistical or marketing cookies, data processing by entities located outside the EEA may occur. In such cases, we adopt adequate safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures where necessary.
